Before you apply
What to carry for a walk-in interview
- Original certificates and one set of self-attested photocopies
- Passport-size photos and a filled form if the notice gives one
- Reach before the reporting time – late candidates are usually not allowed
Are these permanent jobs?
- Most are contract, project or apprenticeship posts – check the contract period in each post.
- They are still a quick way to get government work experience and a salary or stipend.
Beware of “no exam” job scams
- Official recruitment never asks for money beyond the published application fee.
- Never pay anyone who promises a government job without an exam.
