Going for document verification? Choose your exam and category and get a checklist of exactly the documents to carry, in English and Hindi. Tick them off as you collect them, then print the list or share it on WhatsApp. It is free, needs no sign-up, and your ticks stay on your own device.
What is document verification (DV)?
After you clear the written exam, most recruitment boards call you to check your original documents. If anything is missing or does not match your application, your candidature can be rejected, so it is worth preparing well in advance.
Tips before you go for DV
Check that your name, date of birth and category are the same on every document. Fix any mismatch early with a correction or an affidavit. Keep originals and self-attested photocopies in the same order as the list on your call letter. Reach the venue early and carry a few extra passport-size photos.
