Who Should Apply

  • This is a diploma job, not a degree job. The notification says holders of a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering are not eligible, so only Diploma in Civil Engineering holders (and the 23 listed equivalents) should apply.
  • You start on a fixed Rs. 26,000 a month for five years. Regular Level-4 pay (Rs. 25,500 to Rs. 81,100) begins only if your work is found satisfactory after those five years.
  • Your rank comes from one written test. The notification lists no interview, so your marks and your documents decide everything.
  • If you do not have your basic computer certificate yet, you can still apply. You must show it before you are appointed, or your selection is cancelled.
  • If you are applying under SC, ST, SEBC or EWS, remember these seats are only for candidates of Gujarat origin, and you must know Gujarati or Hindi.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Do not apply with only a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. The notification says such candidates are not eligible.
  • Fill the form from your original certificates. Any mismatch found at document verification cancels your application.
  • Your category cannot be changed after you confirm the form. To correct it, you must apply again with the right details and pay the fee again.
  • Pay the fee by 01.11.2026 and save the receipt. The payment link shuts by itself after that, and no late fee is taken.
  • Send only one application. If you pay for more than one, the extra fees are not refunded.
  • Use the same photograph at every stage, and keep 4 or 5 copies. Different photos at different stages can block your allotment.
