MCD Senior Resident 2026 Corrigendum – Reserved Walk-in Every Thursday

Doctors from the OBC, SC, ST and EWS categories do not have to wait for 29.10.2026. Mata Gujri Hospital (Municipal Corporation of Delhi) has issued a corrigendum, which is a notice that clarifies an earlier one. It says that candidates from these reserved categories can walk in for the Senior Resident interview on every Thursday, until the posts kept for their category are filled. A walk-in interview simply means you turn up with your documents on the day, with no separate application deadline.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Do not turn up for a department where your category has no vacant post. The corrigendum lets reserved candidates appear only for vacant posts under their own category.
  • Do not skip the 09:30 AM to 11:00 AM reporting window. Registration and document checking happen then, and the interview starts at 11:00 AM.
  • Do not forget the originals. The notice asks for original documents for verification and one set of self-attested photocopies.
  • Do not leave any column of the application form blank. The notice says an incomplete form can be rejected without notice.
  • Do not forget your original category certificate. The notice asks for the original SC, ST, OBC or EWS certificate.
  • Do not read this corrigendum as a new vacancy notice. It only clarifies the walk-in days. For age limit, fee and pay, see the original recruitment post.
