| Stage 1 — Merit List Preparation | Based on the average of percentage marks in Matriculation (minimum 50% aggregate, total of ALL subjects — not best-of-five) and ITI (average of consolidated marks across all semesters as per NCVT/SCVT certificate), with equal weightage given to both. There is no written test or interview. In case of a tie, the older candidate is preferred; if DOB also matches, the candidate who passed Matriculation earlier is preferred. |
