Selection Process
| Stage | Details |
|---|---|
| Step 1: Screening | TMC first picks candidates from the details you fill in the online form. It can set minimum standards or cut-off marks and limit how many people it calls, so meeting the basic rules does not guarantee a call. |
| Step 2: Interview (posts 1 to 9) | This is the only stage after screening for the 7 Medical Officer posts, Scientific Officer ‘D’ and Medical Physicist ‘C’. The notice says there is no paper pattern and no syllabus for these posts. |
| Step 2: Written test (posts 10 and 11) | For Scientific Officer ‘SB’ and Scientific Assistant ‘C’. The test is 100 marks of multiple-choice questions (MCQ) from your area of specialisation. |
| Step 3: Interview (posts 10 and 11) | These two posts also have an interview. The notice does not say how marks are split between the test and the interview, or what the passing mark is. |
| Document check | Called candidates must carry originals plus one set of copies of their date of birth, education, experience, caste and disability documents. Without them you will not be allowed to appear. |
In short: for posts 1 to 9 the interview is the only stage after your form is screened. Posts 10 and 11 add a 100-mark multiple-choice test. The notice gives no date for any stage yet.
