As per the notification, the CBT will be conducted in Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Jabalpur, Nagpur, Pune, Mumbai, New Delhi, Kolkata and Kanpur. AVNL has reserved the right to modify, add or cancel any test centre depending on the number of eligible applicants, in which case the candidate is assigned a new centre — so the city printed on your admit card is the one that counts, not the one you opted for.
How to Download AVNL Admit Card 2026
- Open the AVNL e-Admit Card login page at cdn.digialm.com/EForms/configuredHtml/1258/100934/login.html, or go to avnl.co.in and click the notification titled “Download eAdmit Card (ADVT.No.AVNLCO/HR/2026/06)”.
- Enter the User ID and Password you received on your registered e-mail and mobile number at the time of registration, then click LOGIN.
- If you have lost your password, use the FORGOT PASSWORD link on the same page to reset it before trying again.
- Check every detail on the admit card — name, post applied for, photograph, signature, exam date, reporting time and the test centre address.
- Download the PDF and take at least two clear colour printouts on A4 paper; keep one for the exam and one for your records.
Note: The exam date, shift timing and test centre address are printed on the admit card itself — AVNL has not issued a separate public exam-date notice, so treat your own admit card as the only authentic source for these details.
Documents to Carry to the Exam Center
| Document | Format / Notes |
|---|---|
| Printed e-Admit Card | Colour printout on A4 paper, undamaged and clearly readable |
| Original photo ID proof | Aadhaar Card / PAN Card / Voter ID / Passport / Driving Licence — the name must match the admit card exactly |
| Recent passport-size photographs | Same photograph as uploaded in the online application; carry 2 spare copies |
| Caste / disability certificate | For SC / ST / OBC-NCL / PwBD / EWS candidates, if claimed in the application |
| Scribe declaration letter | Only for eligible PwBD candidates availing a scribe — the format is available on the AVNL application portal |
| Ballpoint pen and transparent water bottle | Carry only what the admit card instructions permit — electronic items are not allowed inside the hall |
Note: AVNL’s notification lists the personal documents required for verification (Class X certificate, PAN, Aadhaar, caste / disability certificate, apprentice training certificate) but does not publish a separate exam-day checklist. The list above is general guidance — the binding instructions are the ones printed on your own admit card.

Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not wait until exam week to download the admit card — server load and forgotten passwords cause the most last-minute panic, and the FORGOT PASSWORD reset needs your registered e-mail and mobile to still be accessible.
- Do not carry an ID whose name spelling differs from the admit card — AVNL insists that name and date of birth appear in conformity across all documents, and a mismatch can cost you entry.
- Do not assume you will sit the CBT if you applied for Junior Technician (Electroplater), (Forger & Heat Treater), (Painter [General]) or (Rigger) — there is no CBT for these four trades, and your written test will be at the AVNL unit holding the vacancy.
- Do not rely on an exam date seen on a third-party website — only the date and reporting time printed on your own e-Admit Card are authentic.
- Do not ignore the test centre city printed on the admit card even if you opted for a different one, since AVNL can reassign centres based on the number of eligible applicants.
- Do not carry mobile phones, smart watches, calculators or any electronic device into the examination hall, and reach the centre well before the reporting time printed on the admit card.
