Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Apply for ONE state only — submitting multiple applications means only the latest valid one is retained and fees paid for the others are forfeited.
  • This is not an entry-level post: you must already have at least 1 year of experience as an Officer in a Scheduled Commercial Bank (RBI Second Schedule) — confirm this before paying the fee.
  • If applying under OBC, ensure your certificate carries the non-creamy-layer clause and is valid as on the date of interview (or issued within one year of the advertisement date).
  • Current or former Bank of Baroda officer-cadre employees who resigned or exited a contract role within the last 3 years are not eligible to apply.
  • The application fee is non-refundable, whether or not the online test is conducted or you’re shortlisted for interview.
  • Signature, photograph, left-thumb impression and handwritten declaration must exactly match the prescribed size/format — mismatched signatures between the answer sheet and call letter can lead to disqualification.
