Common Mistakes to Avoid
- If you are OBC from outside Delhi, apply under the UR category, because only OBC (Delhi) candidates get OBC benefits.
- Register and apply only once; if DSSSB finds more than one registration or application, all of them are cancelled and you can be debarred.
- Check the form twice before you submit, since no change is allowed afterwards, not even to your category.
- Check the rules for every post you choose, because a post code where you are found ineligible is rejected and cannot be swapped for another.
- Pay only through SBI e-pay; any other mode is not accepted and the money is forfeited.
- Get your OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) or EWS certificate in the right year, as an old certificate will not be accepted.
