Stage 2 — Online Examination
Objective test of 100 questions for 100 marks, 2 hours in total with separate timing for each section. Negative marking of one-fourth of the marks allotted applies to every wrong answer; unattended questions carry no penalty. Minimum qualifying marks are 35% for unreserved candidates and 30% for reserved candidates. There are no minimum qualifying marks for the General Awareness and English Language sections, but the qualifying marks must be secured in the Professional Knowledge section. Stage 3 — Personal Interview
Held at centres across India as decided by the Bank, for a maximum of 100 marks, assessed on role-related exposure in the industry, subject knowledge and communication skills. Minimum qualifying marks are 50% for unreserved candidates and 45% for reserved candidates. Call letters are sent by email only, and requests for a change of interview date or centre are not entertained.
Stage 4 — Final Merit List
Prepared by assigning a weightage of 80% to the Online Examination and 20% to the Interview. The list of candidates qualifying at each stage and the final selected list are published on the Bank’s website.
Stage 5 — Document Verification and Medical Fitness
Appointment is subject to being declared medically fit and to satisfactory verification of character, antecedents and caste certificates. Until then the appointment remains provisional.
