Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Do not miss the deadline. Exam centre selection closes at 11:59 PM on 22.10.2026.
  • Do not look in the wrong list. Civil and Electrical have separate lists, so search under the branch you applied for.
  • Do not go to the exam without your e-admit card. The notice says candidates without it will not be allowed to appear.
  • Do not arrive at the last minute. Gates close exactly 10 minutes before the exam starts, so plan for traffic, weather and parking.
  • Use only the official portal at empsconline.gov.in to choose your centre.
