About three candidates are now in the running for every one of the 10,644 clerk posts. The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) declared the Lipik Grade-II and Junior Assistant written exam result on 28.09.2026, along with the cut-off marks for every category. Clearing the paper is one thing and being called for the typing test is another, so the board has published four separate lists.

Cut-off Marks
Rajasthan fills these posts through two separate lists. The Scheduled Area, also called the TSP or Tribal Sub-Plan area, is a group of 1,002 posts with its own cut-off. The other 9,642 posts fall under the Non-Scheduled Area. Check the table that matches the area you applied under, then the column that matches your own quota.
Non-Scheduled Area (9,642 posts)
| Category | General | Female | Widow | Divorcee | Ex-Serviceman |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| GEN | 153.6821 | 148.6930 | 82.8132 | 86.8544 | 61.6931 |
| SC | 135.0272 | 124.7450 | 77.0265 | 71.8911 | NA |
| ST | 122.9152 | 118.9924 | 72.9996 | 73.8643 | NA |
| GEN-EWS | 143.7019 | 138.2996 | NA | 80.9933 | NA |
| OBC | 149.4976 | 143.2297 | NA | 81.0721 | NA |
| MBC | 142.1894 | 129.4566 | NA | 81.1743 | NA |
| SAH | 73.5220 | Blank | Blank | Blank | Blank |
Scheduled Area / TSP (1,002 posts)
| Category | General | Female | Widow | Divorcee | Ex-Serviceman |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| GEN | 137.0084 | 131.3937 | 83.7101 | 71.1465 | NA |
| SC | 123.0917 | 123.0917 | Blank | Blank | NA |
| ST | 99.8525 | 97.8123 | NA | 71.1465 | NA |
Disability and Sportsperson Sub-Quotas
| Sub-Quota | Non-Scheduled Area | Scheduled Area |
|---|---|---|
| BLV | 72.3822 | 74.0776 |
| HI | 79.2800 | NA |
| LD/CP | 110.4279 | 71.4109 |
| MIMD | 71.3177 | 104.5336 |
| SP | 110.7737 | 75.1564 |
NA means the board did not fix a cut-off for that box. Blank means the notification left that box empty. Marks are shown to four decimal places exactly as the board printed them.
What the Category Codes Mean
| Code | What it stands for |
|---|---|
| GEN | General category |
| SC / ST | Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe |
| OBC / MBC | Other Backward Classes and Most Backward Classes. MBC is a separate Rajasthan category, not the same as OBC |
| GEN-EWS | Economically Weaker Section inside the general category |
| SAH | Sahariya, the tribal community in Rajasthan that has a quota of its own |
| Female / Widow / Divorcee / Ex-Serviceman | Horizontal quotas. A horizontal quota is a share of seats set aside inside every category, so a widow in the OBC list competes against the OBC widow cut-off, not the general one |
| BLV, HI, LD/CP, MIMD | The disability sub-quotas: blindness and low vision, hearing impairment, locomotor disability including cerebral palsy, and multiple disabilities. The notification prints only these codes and does not spell them out |
| SP | Printed as a code in the notification without being spelled out there |
Next Stage
| Stage | Details |
|---|---|
| Typing Test (Phase-II) | Only the candidates named in Appendix-3 (Non-Scheduled Area) and Appendix-4 (Scheduled Area) will sit this test. The board shortlisted about three candidates for every advertised post in each category. It will announce the date, the centres and the pattern in a separate notice, so there is nothing to do right now except keep checking the website. |
| Exemption from the typing test | Roll numbers 1553450, 1598611 and 1851386 applied under both the Divorcee quota and the LD/CP quota (locomotor disability including cerebral palsy). The board has listed them under Divorcee, so they do not get an exemption from the typing test. |
| Court case | The whole result is subject to the final decision in SB Civil Writ Petition No. 24709/2025, which is still being heard in the Rajasthan High Court. |
In short: the written exam only decided who sits the typing test. Your name on Appendix-1 or Appendix-2 means you passed the paper. Your name on Appendix-3 or Appendix-4 means you are actually called for Phase-II, so check both.
How to Check Your Result
- Open the RSSB website at rssb.rajasthan.gov.in.
- Go to the news or results section and look for the Lipik Grade-II / Junior Assistant Recruitment 2026 written exam result.
- Download the main result notice. This is the file that carries the cut-off marks for both areas.
- Open Appendix-1 (Non-Scheduled Area) or Appendix-2 (Scheduled Area) and search for your roll number to see whether you passed the written exam.
- Open Appendix-3 or Appendix-4 to see whether you are shortlisted for the typing test, then save or print both files.
Note: RSSB has not released individual scorecards with this notice. The only way to check your position right now is by searching your roll number in the appendix PDFs.
How Your Marks Were Calculated
RSSB does not simply add up right answers. Two things in its formula surprise candidates every year, and both are worth understanding before you compare your own count with the cut-off.
| Term | What it means |
|---|---|
| RQ (Right Questions) | The number of questions you answered correctly. |
| KF (Key Factor) | An adjustment the board applies because some questions were removed from the paper. It divides the full paper marks across only the valid questions, so nobody loses marks for a question the board itself deleted. |
| Wrong answer | One-third of a question value is cut for every wrong answer. |
| Not attempted | One-third of a question value is also cut for every question you marked as not attempted, the same penalty as a wrong answer. |
| Blank bubbles | If you left every option undarkened on more than ten per cent of the questions, you were disqualified. RSSB removed 1,126 candidates on this ground (1,123 in Paper-I and 176 in Paper-II). |
Deleted Questions
The board removed one question from Paper-1 and six questions from Paper-2 in every set. A deleted question is not counted at all, and the Key Factor above makes up the difference.
| Set | Paper-1 (DG28) | Paper-2 (BB6) |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 82 | 65, 71, 103, 114, 115, 134 |
| 2 | 29 | 14, 32, 65, 66, 95, 109 |
| 3 | 01 | 14, 42, 50, 53, 149, 150 |
| 4 | 53 | 29, 93, 98, 114, 132, 133 |
| 5 | 88 | 22, 49, 54, 55, 94, 126 |
| 6 | 02 | 3, 32, 33, 67, 84, 89 |
| 7 | 139 | 2, 25, 26, 45, 56, 64 |
| 8 | 93 | 3, 8, 21, 22, 73, 144 |
| 9 | 118 | 43, 44, 82, 87, 108, 139 |
| 10 | 77 | 21, 32, 37, 71, 72, 116 |
| 11 | 140 | 2, 3, 27, 33, 123, 128 |
| 12 | 54 | 20, 47, 109, 124, 144, 145 |
One thing to note if you download the PDF: the heading above this table in the official notice reads “LDC Grade II / Junior Assistant 2024”. Every other part of the notice refers to Advertisement No. 04/2026 and the exam held on 05.07.2026, so this looks like a typing slip in the heading rather than a different exam.

Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not treat this result as final. The notice calls it provisional, and the board has kept the right to correct it if any discrepancy comes to light.
- The result is tied to SB Civil Writ Petition No. 24709/2025, still pending in the Rajasthan High Court, so the lists can change once the court decides.
- Passing the written exam is not the same as being called for the typing test. Check Appendix-3 or Appendix-4 as well, not just Appendix-1 or Appendix-2.
- If you applied under both the Divorcee quota and the LD/CP quota, check which one the board listed you under, because only one of them applies to your typing test exemption.
- Wrong information in the application form, or use of unfair means in the exam, can get you dropped from the list at any point, even after this result.
- Download and save both PDFs along with your roll number now. Boards usually take old result files offline once the next stage is over.

What is the general category cut-off?
It is 153.6821 for a general category candidate in the Non-Scheduled Area and 137.0084 in the Scheduled Area.
How many candidates are shortlisted for the typing test?
The board shortlisted about three candidates for every advertised post in each category, which works out to roughly three times the 10,644 posts.

Where do I search my roll number?
In the appendix PDFs on rssb.rajasthan.gov.in: Appendix-1 and Appendix-2 for the pass lists, and Appendix-3 and Appendix-4 for the typing test shortlist.
Is this result final?
No, it is provisional and it also depends on the final decision in SB Civil Writ Petition No. 24709/2025, which the Rajasthan High Court is still hearing.
Why were 1,126 candidates disqualified?
They left every option undarkened on more than ten per cent of the questions, which the board treats as a disqualification (1,123 in Paper-I and 176 in Paper-II).
Why is the Scheduled Area cut-off lower than the Non-Scheduled one?
The two areas are filled as separate lists with their own posts, so their cut-offs are worked out independently and do not compete with each other.
