Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Filling only the online form, or only sending the email. SCI needs both, and the documents in the email must match the form.
  • Applying with a DGMA approval that has run out. It must be valid on the day you apply and for the whole contract.
  • Making the PDF too big. Keep the single file under 10 MB, as the notification asks.
  • Applying again and again with changes. Only the latest application is counted, so make sure your last one is complete.
  • Changing the email subject line. Use the exact subject given in the notification.
  • Asking someone to push your name. SCI says canvassing (lobbying or pressure) in any form will cancel your candidature.
