Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Reaching the venue after 11:00 A.M. — registration closes sharply at that time and late candidates are not entertained.
  • Getting the Demand Draft made before 27.08.2026 — the notification requires the DD to be issued after the advertisement date, and it must carry at least 3 months validity.
  • Submitting an OBC certificate in a state format instead of the Central Government proforma at Annexure-II with the DoPT self-declaration — certificates in any other format are rejected outright.
  • Applying for two posts with a single set of papers — each post needs its own application form, document set, photographs and Demand Draft.
  • Turning up without the latest valid renewal certificate of registration from the State Dental Council, or without an NOC if you are already serving in a Government or autonomous body.
  • Assuming a walk-in means no fee — unless you are SC, ST, PWD, a departmental candidate, a female candidate or an ex-serviceman, the Rs. 500 DD is mandatory and non-refundable.
