Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Do not apply while still awaiting your results — the prescribed qualification and the TET pass must be held on or before the last date of application, or your candidature will be cancelled at any stage.
  • Do not submit the form assuming you can correct it later, because KEA permits no change, correction or amendment of any kind once the application has been submitted.
  • Do not miss the separate fee deadline — the application window closes on 18.09.2026 but the fee must be paid by 19.09.2026, and an application without payment is not considered.
  • Do not upload a photograph or signature outside the stated specifications (photo 50–200 KB, signature 50–70 KB, both JPEG), as such applications are rejected outright.
  • Do not claim a reservation whose certificate you do not already hold in the prescribed format on the last date of application, since certificates obtained afterwards will not be accepted.
  • Do not leave an OMR question blank without shading the fifth option, and do not skip the compulsory Kannada Language Exam if you are not exempt — both mistakes cost marks or eligibility outright.
