Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Trying to apply directly to NFC by post or e-mail — the application is accepted only through the NATS portal against Establishment Code STLHDC000003.

  • Applying even though you have already completed, or are currently doing, an apprenticeship under the Apprenticeship Act 1961 anywhere — such candidates are not eligible.
  • Applying with a post-graduate qualification, which the advertisement explicitly rules out.
  • Ignoring your inbox after applying — the walk-in-interview call and the training commencement date are communicated only by e-mail.
  • Waiting until the joining date to apply for the police verification certificate from the Superintendent or Commissioner of Police — start it immediately, as it is required on the reporting day.
