Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Don’t round your marks up — write 60.9% as 60 and a CGPA of 6.95 as 6.9, or your form may not match your mark sheet.
  • If you are OBC, upload a valid NCL certificate while applying — EIL rejects OBC forms without one, with no second chance.
  • Apply for one position only; if you apply twice, EIL keeps only your latest form.
  • Missing even one original certificate on interview day means you will not be interviewed, so pack them the night before.
  • Use an email you will check for the next two years — the interview date comes only by email.
  • Ignore interview calls from agencies or unknown emails; EIL says it hires no agents and sends calls only from its official email.
