How to Download Your Call Letter
- Open the official call letter page. You can also reach it from the PFRDA notice linked above.
- Choose Hindi or English above the login boxes.
- Type your Registration No or Roll No. You got the registration number and password on screen when you registered, and they were also emailed to you.
- In the second box, type your password, or your date of birth as DD-MM-YY. For example, 5 August 1998 becomes 05-08-98. Your date of birth must be the same one you gave at registration.
- Type the captcha code (the letters shown in the picture) and click Login. Then download the call letter and print it.
Note: If you cannot log in, check that you are using the registration number and password you received at registration. The login page also has a “Forgot Password?” link. The page can be slow when many candidates log in together, so try again a little later rather than waiting for the last day.

Documents to Carry to the Exam Centre
| Document | Format / Notes |
|---|---|
| Call letter | Printed copy with a recent passport-size photograph pasted on it. The handout says it is best to use the same photograph you uploaded at registration. |
| Original photo ID | It must be valid and in original. Accepted: PAN Card, Passport, Permanent Driving Licence, Voter’s Card with photograph, Bank Passbook with photograph, Aadhaar or e-Aadhaar with photograph, a recent ID card from a recognised college or university, Employee ID, Bar Council ID, or a photo ID issued on official letterhead by a Gazetted Officer or a People’s Representative. Ration Card and Learner’s Driving Licence are not accepted. |
| Photocopy of the same ID | Staple it to your call letter. Both must be dropped in the box at the end of the exam. |
| Proof of name change (only if it applies) | If your name has changed, bring a Gazette notification, marriage certificate or affidavit. |
| Ball-point pen and ink stamp pad | The handout asks every candidate to bring both. |
Exam-Day Instructions
| Topic | What to know |
|---|---|
| Time at the centre | The test itself is 100 minutes (Paper 1 for 60 and Paper 2 for 40). You may need to be at the venue for about 160 minutes, because of login, call letter collection and instructions. If you applied for two streams, the test is 140 minutes. |
| Reporting | The date, reporting time and venue are printed on your call letter. Late comers are not allowed in. The handout suggests visiting the venue a day before to confirm the location. |
| Questions | All are multiple choice with five options and only one correct answer. Papers are in Hindi and English, except the English Language test. |
| Negative marking | For every wrong answer, one-fourth of the marks for that question is cut. |
| Saving answers | An answer counts only after you click Save and Next or Mark for Review and Next. If you pick an answer and mark the question for review, the answer is still counted. |
| Keyboard | Do not press any keyboard key once the exam starts. It will lock the exam. |
| Not allowed | Calculators, books, notebooks, written notes, mobile phones (with or without camera) and any other electronic device. |
| Calculator for Research stream | A simple on-screen calculator is given in Paper 2 for the Research stream. |
| Rough work | A sheet of paper is given for rough work. Drop it in the box with your call letter at the end. |
| Doubts | You can ask the Test Administrator only before the exam starts. No query is taken after that. |
| End of exam | You cannot submit the final answers until the full time is over. Your answers are saved by the computer on their own when time ends. |

Common Mistakes to Avoid
- The name on your call letter must match the name on your photo ID exactly. Any mismatch means you will not be allowed to sit the exam, and this matters most for women who changed their name after marriage.
- Do not bring a Ration Card or a Learner’s Driving Licence as ID. Neither is accepted.
- Do not forget the photocopy of your ID. Staple it to the call letter, because both go into the drop box at the end.
- Do not touch the keyboard once the exam starts. It locks the exam.
- Click Save and Next after every answer. An answer you only select but do not save is not counted.
- Do not leave the download for the last day. The window closes on 15.10.2026, the same day as the exam.

Carry the printed call letter with your photograph pasted on it, one valid photo ID in original, and a photocopy of that same ID.
5. How long will I be at the centre?
The test is 100 minutes, but plan to be at the venue for about 160 minutes, because login and instructions take time.

Yes, one-fourth of the marks for a question are cut for every wrong answer.
