60 MCQs covering General English, Quantitative Aptitude & Reasoning; 1 mark per question, 0.25 marks deducted per wrong answer; qualifying in nature (40% for UR/EWS, 30% for SC/ST); part of the combined 2-hour written test.
2. Technical Test
40 MCQs in the candidate’s respective discipline (Electrical/Mechanical); 1 mark per question, 0.25 marks deducted per wrong answer; qualifying marks 40% for UR/EWS and 30% for SC/ST; scores from this test determine merit.
3. Merit List & Offer of Appointment
Prepared based on Technical Test merit among candidates who qualify both tests; no separate skill test is conducted.
4. Document / NOC Verification
Valid EQ, category (SC/ST/EWS/XSM) certificates required at the time of the written test; candidates already employed in Government/PSU/Autonomous bodies must produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC), without which they cannot appear.
5. Medical Examination
Selected candidates must undergo a medical examination at a Government hospital and obtain a fitness certificate before joining; no relaxation in prescribed health standards.
