What This Means for You

  1. If you applied for the Clerk post under Advt No. 02/2026 in the Divyang (Physically Handicapped) category and need someone to write the paper for you on 11.10.2026, fill in the scribe request application given with the notice.
  2. Get the Annexure-A certificate about your physical limitation signed by the Chief Medical Officer, Civil Surgeon or Medical Superintendent of a government health institution — the notice says it should come from a specialist of the relevant disability, for example an ophthalmologist for visual impairment or an orthopaedic specialist for locomotor disability.
  3. Fill and sign the Annexure-B undertaking, in which you declare your scribe’s name and educational qualification. Your scribe’s qualification cannot be higher than your own.
  4. Scan the originals of every document listed in Annexure-C and email them together to scribe.sssb@gmail.com on or before 28.09.2026, 5:00 PM. You do not have to go to the Board office or submit anything by hand.
  5. Carry the original Annexure-B to your examination centre and hand it to the Centre Superintendent, and keep the originals of Annexure-A and the Annexure-C documents safely — they have to be produced at the time of counselling.

Note: Emails received after 28.09.2026, or sent to any email ID other than scribe.sssb@gmail.com, will not be considered at all. Candidates who ask for a scribe on the spot at the examination centre will not be given the facility.

Documents to Send with the Scribe Request

Annexure-C of the notice lists eight documents. Scanned copies of the original certificates have to be emailed — photocopies are not accepted.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Sending the email after 28.09.2026 or after 5:00 PM on that day — the notice says late emails will not be considered at all, with no exception.
  • Sending the documents to some other email ID or to the Board’s general address instead of scribe.sssb@gmail.com.
  • Attaching scans of photocopies instead of scans of the original, fully filled and signed certificates.
  • Leaving out the scribe’s own papers — the Matriculation certificate, the highest qualification document and the identity proof — which makes the request incomplete.
  • Assuming a scribe can be arranged at the examination centre on 11.10.2026 — no on-the-spot scribe facility will be given.
  • Declaring a wrong qualification for the scribe in Annexure-B — if any fact or document is found false at any stage, the candidature is cancelled and legal action is started against both the candidate and the scribe.
