Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Pick your category and its code (101, 103 or 104) with care. The board will not change them at any stage.
  • Check every detail before you click Submit. The board allows no corrections afterwards, and it warns you not to ask a cyber cafe or another person to fill the form, because their mistakes will not be fixed.
  • Pay the fee fully. It is never refunded, nobody gets a fee waiver, and a failed online payment means your form has not been submitted.
  • Upload the Punjab residence certificate even if you are in the General category. The notice makes it compulsory for everyone, and it must be under 5 years old.
  • If you are a government employee claiming age relaxation, get an NOC from your department before counselling.
  • Keep checking sssb.punjab.gov.in. The board will not send you separate messages about the exam date, admit card or result.
