Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not wait for the exam centre address to appear on the admit card — only the district is printed there, and the full centre address is intimated separately 3 days before the exam date.
- Do not reach the centre late: entry opens 1 hour 30 minutes before the exam starts and closes 45 minutes before the start time, with no exceptions.
- Do not carry only the original ID proof — a photocopy must be handed to the invigilator inside the examination room, and forgetting it can create trouble at the desk.
- Do not assume your admission is confirmed: it is provisional, and candidature can be cancelled if the hardcopy of the online application was not submitted by 07.09.2026.
- Do not rely on a mobile screenshot of the admit card — carry a printed copy along with two photographs.
- Do not carry any unfair means into the hall: under the Uttar Pradesh Public Examination (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024, cheating and paper-leak offences carry a fine of up to Rs. 1 crore and imprisonment up to life.
