Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Leaving any column of the form blank. The notice says incomplete applications can be rejected without any warning.
  • Sending the form by post or email. Only forms handed in at the walk-in are accepted.
  • Forgetting the NOC if you are working now. Without it you will not be allowed to sit the interview.
  • Bringing an OBC certificate from the wrong authority. It must be issued by the competent authority of the Government of India.
  • Carrying an old medical fitness certificate. It has to be from a government medical officer and issued at the time of the interview.
  • Skipping the fee. It is not refundable, so make the Demand Draft or Pay Order out to “Commissioner, MCD” carefully.
