How to Read Your Row in the Result
Every row in the three lists has the same columns. The pass marks below are the ones in the original recruitment notification.
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Rollno | Your 8-digit roll number |
| BIB No. | A number printed next to your name. The notice does not explain it |
| Height (cm) and Ht Result | Your measured height and PASS or FAIL. The minimum is 162 cm for men and 152 cm for women |
| Chest (cm), Chest Exp and results | For men only. Chest measured normally and then expanded, each with PASS or FAIL. The minimums are 81 cm and 85 cm. Women show N/A |
| Race Time(s) and Race Result | Your race time in seconds, not minutes. The limit is 7 minutes 30 seconds, which is 450 seconds |
| Pushup/Shot Put and Long Jump | Your result in these events. Men do push-ups and women do the shot put. N/A means there is no result for that event |
| PET Date | The date your test was held, or was due to be held if you are marked absent |
| Result | Qualified in Annexure A, Disqualified in Annexure B, Absent in Annexure C |
Next Stage
The result notice does not give a date for any next step. The steps below come from the original recruitment notification, which we covered in our Ladakh Police Constable Recruitment 2026 post.
| Stage | Details |
|---|---|
| Scrutiny of original documents | Only candidates who qualify the PET are called. You bring your original documents and self-attested copies. The check is provisional, so every certificate can still be verified later. No date has been announced |
| Incentive marks | NCC and desired-qualification marks are added to your written exam marks, up to 5% of the maximum marks for each. NCC C certificate gives 5%, B gives 3% and A gives 2%, and the certificate must have been earned by 15.09.2026. For the desired qualification you can claim only one of two things: a light motor vehicle driving licence with a transport endorsement (with a driving test) or a one-year AICTE-recognised computer application certificate |
| Written examination | 100 questions of 1 mark each in 80 minutes, in English and Hindi, with no negative marking, at about Matriculation level. This stage decides merit, and only candidates who qualify the PST and PET and have their documents in order can sit it. The date will be announced separately |
| Medical examination and character verification | This comes after the provisional select list. It covers medical fitness, character and background checks, and a final check of your certificates |
In short: qualifying here only gets you into the written exam. Your written marks, plus any NCC or desired-qualification marks, decide the merit list.
How to Check Your Result
- Open the Ladakh Police recruitment page at police.ladakh.gov.in, or go straight to the result PDF using the link in the table below.
- Find the notice dated 09-10-2026 called Result of PST and PET for Constables, General Cadre, and open it.
- Keep your 8-digit roll number ready.
- Press Ctrl+F in the PDF and type your roll number. The file is large (about 8 MB), so it can take a minute to load on a phone.
- Read the Result column. If you find nothing, search again in the other two Annexures, because your name is in only one of the three.

Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Search your roll number in all three Annexures. The notice names them as Qualified, Disqualified and Absent, and your name is in just one.
- Do not read Qualified as selected. The notice calls this an ongoing recruitment process, and the written exam and document check still come after it.
- Read the race time as seconds. A time such as 407 means 407 seconds, which is inside the 450-second limit.
- If your name, roll number or gender looks wrong in the list, write to the Board at chairman.lpssrb@police.ladakh.gov.in, the e-mail address printed on the notice.
- Wait for notices on the official website for the next stage. The result notice gives no date, so do not trust a date you see on social media.
