What This Means for You

  1. Check your Admit Card again for your exact test date, reporting time and venue — the division-wise schedule above is the Board’s overall plan, but your admit card is what governs your own appearance.
  2. Plan to be at the venue well before 7:00 AM. Entry closes at 7:00 AM sharp and there is no relaxation, so build in time for verification and pre-test formalities.
  3. If you intend to use the free JKSSB shuttle, reach the designated Start Point (Akhnoor–Samba Ring Road for Jammu, JKSSB Central Office ZamZam Complex Rambagh for Srinagar) before 6:15 AM — the last bus leaves before that time.
  4. Carry only what you need: your admit card, a transparent water bottle and light snacks. Leave valuables at home and use the cloak room for anything else.
  5. Remember that snacks and eatables cannot be taken past the Start Point of the PET track, and that drinking water and ORS will be available at designated points along the track.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Arriving between 7:00 AM and the start of the test — the gate closes at 7:00 AM and late candidates are not admitted under any circumstances.
  • Assuming the shuttle bus will wait — the last bus leaves the designated spot before 6:15 AM at both Jammu and Srinagar.
  • Carrying an opaque or coloured water bottle to the PET; only a transparent bottle is permitted on the track.
  • Trying to carry snacks or eatables past the designated Start Point of the PET track, where they are not permitted.
  • Bringing valuables to the venue — the cloak room is available, but the Board accepts no responsibility for loss or damage.
  • Going by this notice alone and ignoring the date, time, venue and instructions printed on your own Admit Card, which take precedence for your individual appearance.
