Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA) — New Post Added via Corrigendum-1
CMA is a Level 6 post (7th CPC), initial pay ₹35,400/month, Medical Standard B1, age 18–33 years (as on 01.01.2027). Minimum qualification: B.Sc. degree with Physics and Chemistry (min. 45% marks) from a recognized University/Institute. CMA candidates attempt the CBT-II Technical Abilities section using a dedicated CMA syllabus (Annexure VIII-E of the CEN) covering Physics, Chemistry and general science topics. Corrigendum-1 also formally adds Medical Standard B-2 (physically fit in all respects; distance vision 6/9, 6/12 with or without glasses up to 4D; near vision Sn 0.6, 0.6; must pass binocular vision test) for applicable posts.
