Stage 1: PET-2025 Shortlisting
Candidates who appeared in Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2025 are shortlisted for the Main Exam category-wise, at 15 times the number of advertised vacancies, based on their normalized PET score (up to 2 decimal places against the final cut-off)
Stage 2: Main Written Exam
Single objective/MCQ paper, 100 questions, 100 marks, 2 hours (120 minutes). Negative marking of 25% (¼ mark) per wrong answer. Covers Part-1 Subject Knowledge (65 marks across 13 topics), Part-2 Computer & IT Knowledge (15 marks), and Part-3 UP General Knowledge (20 marks). This is the sole basis of selection — merit list prepared from Main Exam marks
Stage 3: Document Verification
