- Locate Miscellaneous Services Recruitment (Preliminary) Examination, 2024 (Advt. No. 13/2024) in the list and click the link against it.
- Log in with your WBPSC user ID (it begins with “WBPSC”) and the password created at the time of One Time Registration / application.

Note: As on the date of this post, the Commission’s Admit Card page lists only the West Bengal Judicial Service (Final) Examination, 2023. The link for the Miscellaneous Services Recruitment (Preliminary) Examination, 2024 will appear on the same page from 22.09.2026. The announcement does not mention any offline or postal despatch of admit cards — the e-Admit Card downloaded from the website is the only admit card.
Documents to Carry to the Exam Centre
| Document | Format / Notes |
|---|---|
| Printed e-Admit Card | Clear printout on A4 paper; carry a spare copy. Do not fold, mark or laminate it. |
| Original photo identity proof | Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, PAN Card, Driving Licence or Passport — the name must match the admit card exactly. |
| Passport-size photograph | Same photograph as uploaded with the online application, in case the invigilator asks for one. |
| Blue or black ballpoint pen | For filling the OMR sheet and the attendance sheet. |
| Category / PwBD certificate | Carry a copy if you have claimed any reservation or examination concession. |
The Commission’s announcement does not itemise the documents to be carried; the list above is general guidance based on standard WBPSC examination practice. Follow the exact instructions printed on your own e-Admit Card, which take priority over anything else.

Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Waiting until 3rd or 4th October to download the admit card — the window opens on 22.09.2026, and last-minute server load or a forgotten password can cost you the exam.
- Carrying a photo ID whose name spelling does not match the admit card; a mismatch can lead to being denied entry at the centre.
- Assuming the admit card will arrive by post or email — WBPSC issues only an e-Admit Card that the candidate downloads and prints.
- Ignoring the reporting time and gate-closing time printed on the admit card; the paper runs from 12:00 Noon to 1:30 p.m., but entry closes well before the paper starts.
- Not checking the examination centre address in advance — there are 26 centres across West Bengal and yours may be in a different district from where you live.
- Losing your WBPSC login ID or password; reset it well before 22.09.2026 rather than on the morning of the exam.
