Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Sending your own resume or CV instead of the prescribed Annexure-I format – the advertisement is explicit that the application must be filled up in that format.
  • Counting private-sector experience towards the requirement – both qualification routes ask specifically for experience in the Government sector, and the listed fields are government accounting of autonomous bodies, Tally Prime, government procurement, TA/DA and medical bill scrutiny, pension, internal audit and statutory compliances.
  • Calculating your age against the last date instead of 01.07.2026 – the 35-year ceiling is reckoned as on 01st July of the year of advertisement.
  • Forgetting to self-attest the four asterisked items in Annexure-I – Name, Date of Birth, Aadhaar No. and Address of correspondence each need self-attested supporting proof.
  • E-mailing the application to any address other than estab2.csb@nic.in, or letting it arrive after 07.10.2026 – late applications will not be entertained.
  • Treating this as a regular government job – it is a purely contractual engagement for an initial 2 years and confers no claim or right to subsequent employment with CSB or any other Government Department.
