Who Should Apply

  • This is a Group C support job in the Registry. The duties listed include carrying files, paper books and records, dusting tables, chairs and shelves, and serving tea, coffee and water to officers. Apply if you are comfortable with that kind of work.
  • The post has an unusual two-sided rule: Class 10 is the minimum and Class 12 is the maximum. If you have studied beyond Class 12, read the qualification line in the official advertisement before you pay the fee.
  • The test is objective (multiple choice) and will be held in English only, so you should be comfortable reading English questions.
  • Selection is by a written test and an interview. There is no walk-in route, and no travel allowance is paid for the test or the interview.
  • Selected candidates go into a panel (a ready list). Being on the panel does not give you a right to a job, and the Registry can change the process without notice.
  • If you work in another government office, PSU or bank, you must bring a No Objection Certificate (written permission from your employer) at document verification.

Selection Process

StageDetails
1. Objective Type Test100 multiple-choice questions for 100 marks in 1 hour 30 minutes. There are 25 questions each on General Intelligence and Reasoning, Numerical Aptitude, General English and General Awareness. Each wrong answer costs 0.25 marks. The minimum qualifying mark is 50. The test is in English only and is tentatively set for 26.12.2026.
2. Interview25 marks, with 13 as the minimum qualifying mark. It is held online or in person in Delhi. If many candidates score 50 or more, candidates are called in the ratio 1:3 against the tentative vacancies, in order of merit.
3. Document VerificationYou show your original documents. Selected candidates are placed in a panel in order of merit.

In short, you must score at least 50 out of 100 in the written test to move ahead, and at least 13 out of 25 in the interview. Because each wrong answer cuts 0.25 marks, do not guess blindly. You choose test cities in order of preference, but the Registry can move you to another city, and requests to change the city, centre or date are not accepted.
