Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Do not submit one application for multiple post codes — each post code needs a separate online application with its own SB Collect fee receipt.
  • Do not submit multiple applications for the same post code with different email IDs; only the latest completed application is considered and the fee paid for the others is forfeited.
  • Do not click Final Submit before checking every entry — no change or correction is permitted after submission, under any circumstances.
  • Do not skip the CGPA-to-percentage conversion formula if your board awarded grades — without it the application is treated as incomplete.
  • Serving regular employees of CSIR / Government / Autonomous Bodies / PSUs must upload the No Objection Certificate at the time of applying; there is no chance to add it later.
  • Do not post a hard copy of your application to the institute — the notification explicitly asks candidates not to send one.
  • SC / ST / OBC (NCL) candidates applying against Unreserved posts are not eligible for age relaxation, though SC and ST candidates still get the fee exemption.
