Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Reaching the venue after 10:30 a.m. — registration and document verification run only from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., and the skill test begins at 11:00 a.m.
- Walking in without the Annexure “A” form already filled in block letters with a photograph pasted on it, expecting to fill it at the venue.
- Carrying photocopies that are not self-attested, or carrying photocopies without the originals — both get a candidate stopped at the screening stage.
- Claiming experience at a consolidated salary of Rs. 40,000 or above without an attested salary slip, bank statement or ITR to prove it.
- Assuming travel will be reimbursed — no TA or DA is paid for the walk-in, the skill test, the interview or joining.
- Treating this as a permanent NCERT job — the engagement is contractual up to 31 March 2027 and gives no right to regular appointment.
