Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Choosing a branch that does not match your degree certificate. BEL will not call you for the interview.
- Paying before you check eligibility. The fee is never refunded, and the fee paid on an extra application is not adjusted.
- Sending two applications. Only the one with the higher Application Sequence Number is used.
- Picking the wrong category. It cannot be changed after you submit, and OBC candidates in the creamy layer must apply as Unreserved.
- Using an old certificate. The EWS certificate must be issued on or after 01.04.2026 and the OBC certificate on or after 01.10.2025.
- Trusting anyone who asks for money. BEL takes no fee other than the application fee, and call letters are only on the BEL website, not by email or post.
