Delhi Transco Limited (DTL) has issued a Revised Employment Notice dated 14.09.2026 — a corrigendum that amends its earlier Employment Notice of 17.08.2026 for 65 Assistant Manager Trainee posts (Unique ID DTL-CR-73-170826). The single substantive change is how the application fee is paid: the Rs. 500/- fee must now be transferred online to DTL’s State Bank of India account, and the Demand Draft route prescribed in the original notice is no longer accepted. Vacancies, eligibility, age limit, GATE 2026 requirement, pay level and the service bond are all unchanged. DTL has confirmed on its Careers page that the online application link is still to be activated.

What This Means for You
- Do not buy a Demand Draft. If you had already arranged one on the basis of the 17.08.2026 notice, it will not be accepted — the revised notice says online transfer is the only mode of payment.
- Wait for the online portal. DTL’s Careers page still shows the application link as “to be activated shortly”, so there is nothing to fill in yet. Check dtl.gov.in regularly.
- Keep the transaction record safe. When you do pay, save the UTR number and the date of the transfer — that is now the fee proof you must send with your hardcopy application by Speed Post.
- Nothing else needs redoing. Your eligibility, GATE 2026 paper code, age calculation, certificates and documents are all governed by the same rules as before.
- Read the corrigendum yourself before applying. A corrigendum overrides the original notice only on the points it changes; on every other point the 17.08.2026 notice still stands.
Documents to Send by Speed Post
The hardcopy of the application, along with the documents below, goes to: Asstt. Manager (HR) Recruitment, Delhi Transco Limited, 6th Floor, Shakti Sadan, Kotla Road, New Delhi-110002. Write on the envelope “Application for the post of Asstt. Manager (T)-Trainee Electrical / Asstt. Manager (T)-Trainee Non-Electrical / Asstt. Manager (Civil)-Trainee”, as the case may be.
| Document | Format / Notes |
|---|---|
| Date of birth proof | Matriculation certificate or birth certificate |
| Educational certificates and mark sheets | All years/semesters of Matriculation (10th), Intermediate (10+2), Degree, and any additional qualification |
| GATE 2026 score card | Score card for the applicable paper code — EE, EC/CS or CE |
| Fee payment proof | Changed by this corrigendum — details of the bank transaction, for example the UTR number with its date, in place of the Demand Draft |
| Experience / service certificate | On company letterhead showing post held, period of service, gross emoluments and area of experience, if any |
| Caste / category certificate | For SC / ST / OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) / EWS / PwBD, in the prescribed GoI format from the competent authority |
| Government photo ID | Aadhaar, PAN card, Voter ID, Driving Licence or Passport |

Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Paying by Demand Draft because you read the older 17.08.2026 notice — the revised notice accepts online transfer only.
- Throwing away the payment receipt: the UTR number and transaction date are now the fee proof that must go with your hardcopy application.
- Assuming the corrigendum changed your eligibility — it did not; only the fee-payment clauses were amended.
- Applying with a GATE 2025 or earlier score — only a valid GATE 2026 score (normalized marks out of 100) is accepted.
- Waiting for a separate advertisement to reopen applications — the same recruitment continues, only the portal is yet to go live.
- Sending only the online application and skipping the Speed Post hardcopy, which the notice requires in addition to the online form.
