For the Police Deputy Superintendent post, minimum body weight for female candidates is 45 kg, vision must be 6/6 in one eye and not below 6/9 in the other without glasses, and candidates must be free from colour blindness and squint. Hill-area candidates claiming a height and chest concession must submit the Parvatiya certificate in the prescribed format, issued before the last date of the advertisement.

Paper I, General Studies: 150 questions, 150 marks, 02 hours, with at least one-third of the questions based on Uttarakhand. - Fill the Registration Form with correct details, create a login password and submit. Verify the Basic Information shown, tick the declaration and submit to complete Primary Registration — a confirmation message is sent to the registered mobile number and email.
- Log in, fill the Educational Details page (High School, Intermediate, Graduation and any further qualification), select one or more posts you are qualified for, then upload your photograph and signature as instructed and tick the photo/signature declaration.

Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not claim reservation you have not entered in the online form — the notification is explicit that the benefit of vertical or horizontal reservation is allowed only where the category or sub-category is actually marked in the application.
- Do not upload a Government of India OBC certificate — only the Uttarakhand State services OBC format is accepted, and using the central format gets your candidature cancelled outright.
- Do not use an EWS certificate issued before 01.04.2026; it must be based on 2025-26 income and valid for 2026-27, and must already be in hand on the last date of application.
- Do not treat the correction window as a second chance for everything — the mobile number and email ID can never be changed after registration, and a category change that raises your fee slab requires paying the difference.
- Do not skip the thumb impression on the answer sheet in the exam hall; the notification states the answer sheet will not be evaluated without it.
