Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Sending the application by courier or delivering it by hand — only ordinary post is accepted, and anything else is rejected outright.
  • Forgetting the blank self-addressed envelope with the Rs. 50 postal stamp pasted on it — this single omission is listed in the notification as grounds for summary rejection.
  • Leaving the envelope un-super-scribed, or omitting the category — the envelope must carry “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF FOREMAN OF STORES” in bold letters along with your category.
  • Sending original certificates instead of self-attested photocopies signed with your name and date.
  • Enclosing a certificate issued after 03.11.2026 — every document must be dated on or before the closing date, and the EWS certificate must be valid for the current financial year.
  • Overwriting, cutting or correcting entries on the application form, or failing to affix the photograph — both are listed as deficiencies that lead to rejection.
