How to Raise an Objection

  1. Check your own answers against the column for your series in the table above.
  2. Note down every question you want to challenge, with the option you think is correct.
  3. Fill the objection form (Annexure B of the notice) on a separate page for each question. Add the details of the objection, the correct option, your remarks and a copy of your proof, such as a textbook page.
  4. Get a demand draft of Rs 200 for each question, in favour of the Accounts Officer, JKSSB. Write the draft number and date on the form.
  5. Take the hard copies to the JKSSB office at Muthi, Akhnoor Road, Jammu, or the JKSSB office at Zamzam Building, Rambagh, Srinagar, between 11:00 AM and 5:00 PM on the three working days from 27.10.2026.

Note: The board will not take objections by any other mode, such as email, post or online, and will not look at any objection after the window closes.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Sending the objection online or by post. The notice says offline only, in person at the board’s offices.
  • Putting several questions on one form. Each question needs its own page, and if you put more than one on a page, only the first is counted.
  • Leaving out the proof. The notice asks for documentary proof, so attach a copy of the book or source that backs your answer.
  • Making the demand draft out to the wrong name. It must be in favour of the Accounts Officer, JKSSB, for Rs 200 per question.
  • Reading the wrong series. Check the series on your booklet before you compare answers.
  • Turning up after the window closes. The board will not look at late objections.
