Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Applying for both Generalists and Hindi Officers — a candidate may apply and appear for only one of the two, and multiple registrations or appearances get the candidature cancelled.
  • Submitting more than one application; not more than one application should be submitted by any candidate.
  • Signing or writing the hand-written declaration in CAPITAL LETTERS, or getting someone else to write it — both make the application invalid.
  • Rounding your marks up: the fraction is ignored, so 59.99% is treated as less than 60% and makes you ineligible.
  • Applying while your final-year result is still awaited — the qualification must be completed on or before 30.06.2026.
  • Leaving the application to 28.09.2026: the fee is non-refundable, no correction of any detail is possible after Complete Registration, and no change of category, discipline or exam centre is entertained afterwards.
