| Stage 2 — Interview | Carries 100 marks. Qualifying marks in the interview are decided by the Bank. The centre and venue are fixed by the Bank; requests for a change of centre are not considered. Outstation candidates are reimbursed economy-class airfare by the shortest route, subject to a maximum of Rs. 10,000 (to and fro) or the actual travel cost within India, whichever is lower, on producing tickets and boarding passes. Local transport is not reimbursed. |
| Stage 3 — Merit List | Prepared in descending order of interview marks only. Where two or more candidates score the same cut-off marks, they are ranked in descending order of age (older candidate first). |

Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Applying without the IIBF Certification in Forex Operations — it is an essential qualification, not a preferred one, and the certificate must be dated on or before 31.07.2026.
- Treating teaching or training work as eligible experience. The notification states plainly that teaching and training experience is not counted.
- Uploading an experience certificate that does not specifically mention trade finance processing — a generic banking experience letter can cost you the shortlisting.
- Submitting more than one application for the same post. Only the last valid application is retained and the fee paid on the other registrations is forfeited.
- Waiting until 19.09.2026 to register. The fee must also be paid by that date, and a payment failure on the last day cannot be corrected afterwards.
- Assuming a posting close to home. Hyderabad and Kolkata are the indicative centres, and the Bank states that requests for any other centre will not be considered.
