How to Download SBI PO Mains Admit Card 2026

  1. Open the SBI careers page at sbi.bank.in/web/careers/current-openings and find the block for Recruitment of Probationary Officers (Advertisement No. CRPD/PO/2026-27/09).
  2. Click “DOWNLOAD MAIN EXAM CALL LETTER”, or go straight to the call letter login page.
  3. Read the disclaimer shown on the first screen and accept it to reach the login form.
  4. Enter your Registration Number or Roll Number, your Password or Date of Birth in DD-MM-YY format, and the captcha displayed on screen, then submit.
  5. Download the call letter along with the Acquaint Yourself Booklet, and take a clear printout on A4 paper.
  6. Paste a recent passport-size photograph — the same one you uploaded with your application — in the space provided on the printed call letter.

Note: SBI does not send any hard copy by post. The notification states plainly that no hard copy of the call letter or the Acquaint Yourself Booklet will be sent by post, so downloading and printing it yourself before 12.09.2026 is the only way to get it.

Documents to Carry to the Exam Centre

DocumentFormat / Notes
Main Examination Call LetterPrinted copy with a recent passport-size photograph pasted in the space provided. Candidates reporting without a pasted photograph are not allowed to appear.
Original Preliminary Exam Call LetterThe original, duly checked, authenticated and stamped by the Preliminary Examination centre staff — carried together with the authenticated photocopy of your ID proof that was stamped at the Prelims.
Photo Identity Proof (Original)Any one of: Passport, Aadhaar, PAN Card, Driving Licence, Voter’s ID Card, Bank Passbook with duly attested photograph, School or College ID Card, or an identity certificate from a Gazetted Officer on official letterhead.
Photocopy of Photo ID ProofSelf-attested photocopy, submitted to the invigilator in the examination hall along with the call letter. Without it — or if identity is in doubt — the candidate is not permitted to sit the test.
Two Additional PhotographsIdentical to the photograph pasted on the call letter. SBI advises retaining about 8 copies of the same photograph, as further stages of the selection process need them.
Scribe Documents (if applicable)PwBD candidates using a scribe should carry the documents set out in the official Scribe Guidelines.
Biometric VerificationPhotograph, thumb impression and IRIS scan may be captured. Do not apply mehandi, ink or any chemical to your hands before the exam, as this can cause the impression to be rejected.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Carrying only the Main Exam call letter and leaving the original stamped Preliminary Exam call letter at home — SBI requires both at the Main Examination, and the Prelims one must come with the authenticated copy of your ID proof.
  • Reporting without a photograph pasted on the call letter, or without the two additional copies of that same photograph.
  • Bringing only a photocopy of your photo ID — the original and a self-attested photocopy are both required, and the photocopy is handed to the invigilator.
  • Entering the date of birth in the wrong format at login: the field expects DD-MM-YY, not DD-MM-YYYY.
  • Leaving the download to the last moment — the window closes on 12.09.2026, which is the exam day itself.
  • Applying mehandi, ink or any chemical to your hands before the exam, which can interfere with the thumb impression captured at biometric verification.
