Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not confuse this result with the Combined Section Officers’ (Grade ‘B’) LDCE-2025 result — the two are announced under the same What’s New heading on the UPSC site but are different examinations with different PDFs.
- Check your roll number under the correct Service heading (IV, V, VI or VII); the same result PDF carries four separate lists and skimming the wrong one is the easiest way to miss your own number.
- Do not treat qualifying in Part-I as final selection — candidature is provisional and the records-of-service evaluation in Part-II still has to be cleared.
- Do not miss the mark sheet window; mark sheets go up only after the final result for 2021 is published and are taken down 30 days later.
- Do not assume this press note covers 2019 or 2021 — only the year 2020 result has been declared here.
- Keep a saved copy of the result PDF page carrying your roll number, since government result files are sometimes moved or replaced on the official site.
