In short: only working professionals can apply. You need the years of experience listed above, plus either a matching pay grade in government or a public sector company, or the minimum yearly pay if you are in a private company. A fresher cannot apply.
Who Should Apply
- This is for people already working in government, a public sector company, Metro Railways or a private company. Teaching, freelance, apprenticeship and internship years do not count towards the experience.
- All three posts are at the Corporate Office in New Delhi, but RVNL can ask selected candidates to serve at any of its locations or offices.
- Think about the bond before you apply. Selected candidates must sign a surety bond of Rs 4,00,000 plus GST, serve at least 3 years (time on leave without pay does not count), and give 90 days’ notice before resigning.

Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Sending the application only by post or only by email. RVNL says it must be received in both forms.
- Attaching more than one file to the email. Send one single PDF with the exact file name and subject line given above, or the application will not be considered.
- Reaching late. An application that arrives after 6 PM on 21.11.2026 is not accepted, and RVNL is not responsible for postal delay.
- UR and OBC candidates skipping the Rs 400 Demand Draft. An application without it is rejected. Write your name, notice number, post, Aadhaar number and phone number on the back of the draft.
